Dischem Policy not saving lives-

I wanted to rate 0, but there is no option. I am a 44 year old woman and went to the docter for a bladder infection. Instead, the doctor told me my bp was very high. He gave me a tablet and I went home. Later that evening, I had severe heart palpitations and my family rushed me to the closest hospital. My bp was 250 over 140, which is life threatening. My doctors at the mediclinic had to fight on the phone with Dischem, telling them it is life threatening and I can not be transported to another hospital. Several doctors fought with them on the phone. They did not even arrange an ambulance. Mediclinic had to phone and I was transported with the ambulance to Karl Bremer. They had to drive very slowly and I was immediately put in High Care. All the doctors was in disbelief on how badly I was treated. Their answer was that they cant help me as I did not have a heart attack or stroke (yet). I am on the highest cover of the policy and I do understand that this is not a medical aid, but falsely claiming that they will cover Casualty until stabilised and then take to a hospital, is pathetic. My life was in danger. Please Dischem Health Policy, listen to the recording of the doctors fighting with you on the phone the night of 10 October 2024. I now have to pay Emergency Visit, with all the tests (which you recommended). Test were very urgent, but still you refused, because i did not have a heart attack or stroke yet. I also have to pay the ambulance. Karl Bremer, on the other hand, was excellent, with excellent doctors. They were also in disbelief. I will take this further and immediately cancelled my policy as it is worthless when it comes to saving a life.

Reviewer Update
I have 3 bills now. Casualty, Pathcare and ECG/bloodwork (requested by Dischem to show if I had a heart attack or stroke-then only would I be covered)
