DISCHEM HEALTH INSURANCE A DISGRACE - DO NOT TAKE

Not even 1 star can justify my experience with Dischem Health Insurance I was in a situation whereby I the doctor reffered me to hospital for medical attention as the situation can lead to a more serious condition - sitting in the hospital waiting for approval I could hear the Dischem person ask if the patient is still awake which then the response was that they do not cover the request - I had to seek alternative medical attention at my expense. Therefore you will only receive Hospital attention if you accute (about to die).

I am also a diabetic and my medication was changed to assist with the change in my recent results I was just told Dischem Health do not cover the change it is for your account even though this is identified as a chronic condition it do not guarantee it will be paid. I have send a email to Dischem Health indication my disagreement with their discision I received NO RESPONSE I will therefore not recommend anyone to use Dischem Health for your need
