Dischem *****

I have just been contacted by Kaelo on behalf of Dischem after cancelling my insurance with them two years ago, demanding I pay 1 cent for a shortfall on a consultation I don't even recall having. I never received a statement two years ago but now I'm being told I must just make an eft payment. I used to work in accounts and we never harassed people for an outstanding 1 cent, we wrote off the amount. This is utterly ridiculous. This seems highly irregular and I'm considering contacting the insurance ombudsman as they don't seem interested in assisting me and just tell me to pay. Is this just a ploy to reactivate my account?
