Dis-Chem Health is a ****

I regret the day I signed up for this medical insurance for my elderly mother. She was admitted in a private hospital after she suffered an injury and in need of urgent hip replacement, which was done by the hospital. I didn’t know about this hospital but Dis-Chem/ Kaelo referred mom to that hospital. It’s been eight months now since the claim was submitted. Dis-Chem has been ducking and diving in paying the claim. The hospital has sent them the bill several times but they always come up with an excuse that they didn’t receive the claim. Not even a single month that I missed the premium. They still sending me a monthly reminder for their debit order even though they can’t deliver on their promise. This medical insurance is a ****. Look at all these reviews, quite shocking. You need to be ashamed Dis-Chem Health. The regulator has a huge task to investigate you.
