Travel insurance

Made use of the diners club extended travel insurance option on a recent trip to Canada. Well that was a waste of money. Not only did I have a flight cancelled but was delayed in Canada by 2 days. None of this was covered by the policy. Flight cancellations and travel delays are not clearly outlined when buying the extended cover. Essentially this is not covered so don’t waste your time with the insurance option.
