What a disgusting money grabbing organization.<br> <br> From a premium brand some decades ago, Diner's Club has clearly become nothing more than a shallow money grabbing shell of a business.<br> <br> At the end of January 2015 my card had expired. I received no call advising of availability of new card.<br> Yet a micro balance or -R13 (THIRTEEN RAND) was carried through the statement. Naturally anybody would ignore something so insignificant. Yet now I notice that TWO CHARGES of R 129 have been levied against my account (which I could not use anyway since the beginning of the year) plus some Rands of interest over the ensuing months.<br> <br> South Africans should tell this disgusting overseas brand, administered by the country's most ruthless bank, Standard Bank, to take an affirmative hike North and leave our s****s. They are damaging whatever one-time valued reputation the mother brand had in its more glorious years.<br> <br> Diners Club SA, you have just ignited a social media storm. Watch this space.
