Diners Club likes your business not your problems

I have been a Diners Card member for more than 20 years. I do most of my business by Diners Card and buy all my international travel tickets for myself and my wife via Diners Card. One of the benefits with international travel is the international lounges in many of the airports we travel to. Recently we travelled back from Germany. The lounge in Munich had no problem to receive us on the Diners Card, but barely 6 hours later in Abu Dhabi, we ran into problems as my card was received, but my wives card was not accepted due to it being flagged. I was then forced to pay US$57 to allow her to have a shower and a breakfast. I immediately sent an email to my local Diners representatives in South Africa about the problem and asking for a refund. Nothing was communicated to me, neither by email or SMS about the problem at the time, but 24 hours later, I received a silly one liner email to tell me that due to suspected activity on my wife's card from Japan, the card was suspended. The amount 1.33.[Sic]. Obviously I assumed this to be my local currency, South African Rand, so that will make it US$0.09c. No word of apology or remedy, nothing. No word about any cancellation or any question whether the transaction might have been legitimate or not. Nothing. Even as I write this, I don't know if the card is still suspended or active. Any follow up email to get further action, was met with silence. My responder indicated that they received the email an read it. Now today, a week later, still no response from Precious Kgomotso Moeketsi, or her supervisor, Mathimba Shikonele. Even threats of cancelling my long-term relationship with them or going public was met with cold silence. Is there anybody that can help or do I need to assume that this is the value of my business with Diners? Do I need to assume that Diners is only interested in my business and not my happiness? Anybody?

Reviewer Update
Ryan came back very quickly and hopefully everything will be restored. I am curious to see if all the actions he undertook will pan out.
For now it sounds good.
