Diners club failing

I have always held Diners club card in high esteem. They've been fantastic and the support I have received is great.

HOWEVER

I recently had an incident where I've been ****med by an international party for a minor purchase of some R 600.00. Obviously I'd like to know who these people really are and in which country they are based.

Diners club cannot tell me, unless i pay fpr the access at a cost of some R 300.00.

This sort of irks me as id think they have an obligation to me as a customer to at the very least provide me with the details of the merchant who received my funds.

So in future I'll never again use their card for a purchase unless i know who the merchant is. That essentially means i can never again use their card for purchases again

In future ill make use of PAYPAL who i know would have returned this charge at no cost to me.
