Lies and deceit.
All this company had to do was fulfill a delivery. Turns out, they actually don't do the delivery part of the delivery. They hand it to RAM Couriers.
And boy does RAM not know how to deliver!
Digital Planet acts as the middle-man for these things. They told me that my package was out for delivery on 14 October 2019. Nothing happened, no one contacted me. 6am on 15 October 2019, I get a text message saying the delivery driver could not complete the delivery and that if I did not receive delivery I would be liable for a fee! Upon query, the driver said that he could not get in as it has access card control (which it does not). and did not bother to contact me. 90 minutes worth of calls to both Digital Planet and RAM had contradicting information. Digital Planet said they called RAM and confirmed that they would try and work out what went wrong and PROMISED that delivery would still happen today (15 October 2019), that the driver was out with it and will be late. They also said that RAM would URGENTLY contact me to get it sorted. I then called RAM, and the customer service department said they only received 1 communication from Digital Planet in that regard. I was then transferred to the RAM Query department, only to have the representative say the package was in the warehouse!
This is utterly ridiculous! I'm not looking for a canned response, I am looking for action. I would like all the call recordings and the applicable driver logs, to ascertain who is at fault. But more importantly, I want my parcel delivered before close of business 16 October 2019. Failing that, the senior (I will not deal with anymore underlings) manager to contact me and explain why their business is so pathetic.
