Lenovo laptop

I recently purchased a laptop from Digital Planet through FNB. When I started it up, it was ridiculously slow. I have a 10 year old laptop that is faster. I was informed yesterday that if a laptop is slow. it's not considered faulty. Seriously??????? I think they're trying to palm off a bad product on me. Please note: I WILL NOT PAY FOR THIS!!!!!!!!! I will close my FNB account first.

I received a reply from Buhle Masina at your Device Guru Desk that states that a slow laptop isn't considered faulty. This is what stumps me. You sell me a laptop that underperforms, and acknowledge the fact, and in the same breath tell me that you don't consider it faulty.

I purchased a product from you with the expectation that it would perform normally. This product doesn't do that and therefore is faulty.

Hi Robert,

Kindly note a slow device is not deemed as faulty and therefore cannot be repaired or replaced.  Please may you uninstall the McAfee and try to do the Nova reset again this usually helps with the performance of the unit.

This is an entry level unit and cannot be used for work ETC...

Kind Regards,

There you go people. Any other company will replace a laptop that doesn't perform to the specs, yet Digital Planet will do everything to avoid having to replace an inferior product. I have spoken to the techs at Lenovo, and they have assured me that the laptop is underperforming. Digital Planet won't even assess the laptop in case they find that what I have been saying is true. My advice is stay away from them. Go to someone reputable.
