Macbook Pro 15" (2014) Retina Screen Coating Fault
I am CTO of a multinational internet company. Presentations on my MacBook Pro have become increasingly embarrassing. The coating started coming off my retina screen around 12 months after I purchased my MacBook Pro (R39,000). I took it to Digicape in Cape Town as it was recalled by Apple. The replacement screen was fitted and then around 18 months later the coating started coming off again. I reported this to Digicape and they said that I had already had a new screen from Apple and could not fit a new one. I then called Apple and they said I could have a screen fitted and sent me to Digicape. I took my Macbook Pro for inspection at Digicape and they ordered the new screen. I then received a call from Digicape saying that as this was the second screen that was faulty, I could not get a replacement. This faulty product repair sevice is unacceptable.
