Digicape unprofessional and shoddy work. Laptop repeatedly crashed after upgrade, avoid using them!

I had an overall horrible experience with Digicape late last year, I was not going to complain initially, but their shoddy work has come back to bite me again. Last year, around September, I wanted to upgrade my Macbook Air from 128gb to 256gb. I must point out that this was an upgrade that I wanted, there was nothing wrong with the machine at all. I went to Digicape thinking that they were reputable. First I had to wait for 2 weeks for stock after they had told me it would be fine if I brought it in they had stock - I had to leave my machine there for two weeks. When they finally got around to installing the 256gb, I went to pick it up, they said everything was fine. When I got home and switched on the machine it did not work, the drive was not working and the machine kept crashing. Then I called them to tell them what had happened, shockingly they told me that I must be mistaken and that the machine is in perfect working order. I even had to go to the point of needing to take videos of the problem so that they would believe me! This was totally unprofessional, on top of the fact that I still did not have a working laptop. So, I took it back, had to show them the videos of what happens when the machine crashes - because obviously to them I was making it up. After booking it in again, they called to say that what they had installed was damaged and they would have to put in another. They claimed it was an 'out of box failure'. So i was in for another couple of weeks, there was no sense of urgency from that at all considering that they had inconvenienced me and it was no fault of my own. Anyways I eventually got it back, and well the machine was never really the same again, battery and other issues, but I was grateful for a working machine after my ordeal.

Then, just about a year (November 2019) later my laptop crashes. I took it in for a different company to check out, low and behold the drive that digicape installed has FAILED! I have to replace it again.

I do not know what Digicape does with the machines they get to upgrade, or if it is just poor quality of work, but I would not advise ever using them. On top of it all, they are unprofessional and treat their clients poorly. Since I let my laptop their the first time, I have had nothing but problems with my perfectly working machine.

They were DJB21089 and DJB21033 - this is not really going to assist as I am now replacing the drive once more due to the latest crash, I could bring it back to you but will not because I simply to do not trust your service, however perhaps this will help you to offer a better service to others in future.
