Very Poor Service and Ridiculous Reasons for Rejecting a Geyser Claim by Standard Bank Insure and Digicall

I telephonically logged the first call with Standard Bank Insure (Digicall) for a faulty geyser, claim number 18/028555. When logging the called I emphasised to the call centre lady that whoever they sent to my house must tread carefully when going on top of the ceiling to repair the geyser i.e. they must use the timber beams and not use the brandering timber that holds the ceiling because more often, the plumbers damage the ceiling. The plumbers came to repair the geyser on the 12 of April and they indicated that they had replaced a faulty valve. A couple of weeks later, on the 02 of May, I again logged another geyser fault and I again emphasised to the call centre lady that whoever they sent to my house must tread carefully when going on top of the ceiling to repair the geyser i.e. they must use the timber beams and not use the brandering timber that holds the ceiling because more often the plumbers damage the ceiling. The plumbers came later that day and replaced the whole geyser, but, unfortunately they damaged the ceiling.

I immediately reported this damage to Standard Bank Insure, but unfortunately I was taken from pillar to post for close to two weeks by both Standard Bank, Digicall and the plumbing company (their sub-contractor). Making empty promises that they will come and check the damage and do an assessment, which they never did and eventually I fixed the damaged ceiling myself and then put a claim to Standard Bank Insure.

I also sent them pictures of after the damage, after the repairs and an itemised cost of repairing the damaged ceiling, because I was fed up of being taken from pillar to post and empty promises and also because the damaged ceiling was in my dining area why all my visitors go through.

Again Standard Bank and Digicall took me from pillar to post and kept on saying that they are investigating and at times referring me to the plumber, which I told them that my insurance contract is with Standard Bank and not a plumbing company that I don't even know.

After several weeks and reminders, Digicall has now comeback to me today to tell me that they have rejected my claim because the clearance certificates after the plumbers replaced the valve on the 12th of April and the geyser on the 02nd of May were signed by my helper; who was coerced to sign the certificates without consulting me and understanding or having any clue what is it that she was signing for?

They also claim that I used 2x20kg of Rhinoglide 20Kg, 2 bag of Plaster Key, 45metres of Rhino Tape 48mm X 45metres, 1x10metres Plastic, 4 Sand Papers (40P, 80P 100P), 1 White Paint 25litres and 4 Dust Masks to renovate my entire ceiling?

As usually, companies that offer insurance are always ready and willing to accept the monthly premiums, but when it is time to pay the claim, they always find ridiculous reason not to pay.
