UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT ORDERS

I have contracts with the abovementioned company one of which has come to an end at the end of February. I have a standing agreement with the company to debit my account on the 27th of each month. As far as I am concerned the debit orders have been going off each and every month and at no particular time have I received a call from this company telling me that any of my accounts are in arrears.<br> <br> Just recently, on the 15th of March there was a debit order that went off my account to them for R150. I called to query this but the person I spoke to never gave me a satisfactory answer except to say she had escalated my query to their billing department and they were going to call me back. I never received any call from them, so I went to my bank and reversed the debit order. The same thing has happened today but the debit order is for R249 . I called them again and after holding on for a while, the guy comes back to tell me that the debit orders are \system-generated\" due to debit orders that never went through at some stage. He didn't tell me when. I feel that this company is a rip-off because no-one called me. Needless to say that reversing a debit order costs me R25 each time. "
