MTN - SUMMER MOBILE: upgrade done, no handset received.

I upgraded my MTN cellphone contract on 15 January 2022 via Summer Mobile phonecall. Followed up with them for my handset delivery on 24 January, 31 January, 1 February, 10 February, 11 February, 18 February. My handset is still not delivered. Summer Mobile promised to investigate / escalate / provide feedback - NOTHING forthcoming from my followups. When I phone again I get the same empty promise. On 11 February I was told to phone the courier company which I did - the courier company had no record of my order. I wanted to cancel my upgrade via Summer Mobile and was told that I am not allowed to cancel. When I insisted, I was told that they would send an email to escalate. I have still not received anything: no feedback / no handset. "Michaela" did the initial call to me and the upgrade; I have spoken with Mohammed, Ntombi (very friendly) and Beulah (not so friendly).
