Inappropriate treatment and derogatory implications from personnel

<p>Two years ago I lost my permanent job. Since then I have luckily had temp jobs until now. I have a loan from Direct Axis, and with loosing my job I made an arrangement with Sigma to make payments each month which I have stuck to. Now loosing my temp job and not having anything else they are constantly calling me and demanding that I pay the full outstanding amount. Having explained to them that I am unemployed and have no money they wanted me to send them an unemployment affidavit and a copy of my ID which I did. They have stated that they received my documentation but that it doesn't mean anything, so why ask for the documents if they are not necessary (waisting my time). Since then I have had phone calls (which they say they charge me for at R19.50 per call) twice a day since the 8 June 2017 they are even phoning me at night at unreasonable times (19h00 and 21h00) after having been told by them that they would contact me weekly. To me they keep making phone calls to push my debt up so that I end up paying more. The treatment and impression that I get from them implies that I am trying to get out of paying my debt, which is very far from the truth. I am not a ******** but spoken to and treated as if I am one. When asked how they would like me to get money I am told to get a peace job or get someone else to pay. If it was that easy to get a peace job I would not be in this situation. I don't appreciate the treatement and attitude of the personnel in this matter. Something should be done with how they treat people after all the country is in recession and I am not the only one without employment.</p>
