Slow Quote, wrong information, overcharged - still trying to bill!

To let it be known - I never complain about small businesses one because I don't have the time & two because I do beleive everyone makes mistakes however this case has driven me absolutely mad!

In point form:

1) Contacted Dial a Nerd for a simple quote on a Desktop computer. It took their team ages to quote me and then I received different pricing as advertised on the website. For some reason they had the Ex Vat amount listed on their website. This didn't bother me too much so I moved on and paid anyway. Before paying I asked the sales representative Raadyia to make 100% sure the computer has built in Wifi. She confirmed.

On a R10 000 delivery they wanted to charge me (my work is two streets away from Dial A Nerd Randburg) I understand procedures so I offered to collect.

2) Day before my collection I decided I would also like to purchase these Arlo Security cameras. Again the quote took forever to be sent. I've now spent over R18 000 with Dial A Nerd.

3) Day of collection. They hadn't got my order ready so I waited 30 minutes for them to figure everything out. Took the desktop to our office to figure out the computer doesn't have wifi which I asked the sales rep to confirm 100%.

4) I later see the same compueter from Computer mania and another store listed on price check for R1000 cheaper.

5) I take up the issue with Raadyia she apologises and says she'll send someone over to delivery and install the router.

6) The technician arrives. Drops off the router without installing it at all. Again we work literally 5min away from their office.

7) I get a bill from Dial a nerd for the hourly call out fee, R200 invoice for the router and a note from the technician saying no body was in my office for him to install the router. FYI he delivered to a office where the computer was WAITING for him.

8) Dial a nerd are now claiming I owe them R1060 for a call out fee, technician installation costs and for the router. I complain & Andries their manager phones me - I explain and he says he'll sort it out.

9) I never heard back from Andries at all. I still get their accounts trying to claim money from me when they ulimately trying to fix their initial mistake.

Absolutely shocking service, over priced and no communication within their team. I'll never recommend or seek their service again!
