LAIDBACK ATTITUDE DENIED THE RIGHT TO WRITE FINAL

COLLEGE OF CT - THORNTON refused to give me the parent the child's permit to write. Yesterday I went to collect my child's permit in order for her to write her final exams at College of Cape Town Thornton Campus. The clerk refused to give me the permit. She said I needed to provide my child's ID even though I had her student card in my hand and my id with me. She said my child needs to provide her ID before she can write. I said she writes tomorrow afternoon and needs the permit. I asked if she could give the permit and then she could bring the ID when she writes tomorrow afternoon. She said NO that is the rule, no permits without an ID. What is the student card there for if they insisting on an ID. Today my child goes to write at 1pm gets there at early to get the permit, only to find out that the exam started at 9am. So she was not able to write. She is devastated because of some arrogant individual that chose to be difficult. I don't care about National Cert rules etc., your staff made the error so you need to fix it. All her hard work, she deserves the right to write. Please urgently intervene to correct this matter or direct me to someone who can.
