What has this country come to

Good morning sir

I write to you with pain in my heart for the way the education department has treated me and my child.

I went to the Empangeni branch and was sent to the lady in the first office that does admissions . She was so rude to me as I walked towards her she asked me what I want. So I greeted her and asked If she was busy. She told me she is always busy . I asked her to assist me with getting my son a school as I'm a single mum who relocated to Empangeni after the kids of my sister . She told me sorry I can't help u if the school is full there is nothing she can do. But I must try at the district office. So I went there and explained my problem and was told by them as well there is nothing they can do.

How is it possible for department of education office to be open but no one can assist. My child is the same as any child. But as I walked away from the que she could assist other parents that came there in front of me.

What has this country come to. There was a time were education came first. Now it's the staff that pick and choose who they want to help.

I need your assistance please sir. I live near Empangeni high school and I am a single mum who can't afford private schools. Please help me with place at Empangeni high for my child who is in grade 10 and his name is sohail Mustapha.
