this online registration system is really failing our kids. I registered early in July 2024 and submitted my documents at the required school within 5 days as stipulated however for some reason the system shows that I have not submitted the documents and as a result my child is not placed and I then visited the Department of Education on the 13th January 2025 and before this time I was busy going to the school seeking help cause I got worried when I did not receive a placement SMS. When i got to the department I was then told they can't help cause schools are full in my Area which is in Tembisa they "temporarily placed my child at E****wa secondary school" which is in Daveyton and I was instructed to upload the documents on the system yet the portal does not allow and as a result I feel very frustrated and urge our Government to have walk in centers with trained people who will help frustrated parents cause this is really not right for our kids
