unfairness on the GDE admissions

I registered my child for grade 1 online,my application was rejected.and on Friday the 14 of September I received an sms saying my application was successful and I should report to the school within 7 school days,I went to the school the very same day ...at the school I was told to go to the district offices.on Monday the 17th of September 2018 I went to the district,and they told me that I had forfeited the offer and the offer forfeited Friday midnight.why are they playing with us,why do they tell us about 7days when they know that we only have a few hours to reply.I need answers from the district this is unfair...please help
