Stop playing with the public

I app**** for grade 8 at a public school. I was told that my preferred school has reached capacity. My child was forcefully placed at Hoerskool Die Burger and marked as I had accepted the offer, which I didn't. The school has bad reviews. On visiting the school, I was shocked by the state of the school. It looks like an abandoned building. There's no fence at the back anyone can access as they please. The school is basically a dump. Has the Department ever visited this school? Can they place their own children at such a school?
