School placement

Hi, I have just relocated to tukoomsrus ext this January, I have two children 7 years old and 8 years old. I'm having a hard time finding a school for them, I went to the department of education at randfontein on the 13th before the school opened,they just took our contact details and said they will contact us, but they haven't, I normally go there for follow up but they seem to be dragging their feets, last week Monday on the 27th they told me that there was no space for them to place my children. I don't know what to do because my children are not able to school due to the distance from their previous school. Please help me
