Refused Education due to Haircut

<p>So on the 10/08 my son came home with a letter saying that his hair needs to be cut short. I told him that there is nothing wrong with his hair as it is short and neat. The school E.P.Baumann primary phoned to inform me that i need to come fetch my son as his hair has not been cut. I told Dawn in the office that i am upset with the fact that his hair is short and neat and that the school has a problem with it. I advised her that i wont be picking him up as i feel that it is not fair for him to loose education due to haircut that the school feels is not appropriate. I then asked that th teacher phone me and followed up regulary to find out what is happening. I was informed by Dawn that they will phone me when they get the time and thatmy son is sitting in Ms Randalls class not in his own class. So why can they keep my son in onther class and make him miss a days enducation to proof a point to the parents. He is there to get education not to be told his hair is unappropriate. My son is emotionally scared to got o school due to the presure being put on him about his hair. Yes if his hair was long i would understand that it needs to be cut but it is short so what is the problem.................</p>
