online applications

I app**** for my child for grade 8 for next year. The online system is such a nightmare! I app**** on the first day of applications, it was the 22nd of July. The system had a glitch, and my application was deleted. I had to re do it and i think that took me to the back of the line. I did not get offers from any of the schools i app**** to. Last week I was automatically placed at a school which was the last option of the schools I had app**** to. My question is what happened to the right to choose a school that you see best for your child. I mean if i am going to be paying school fees should i not at least be given the opportunity to have options and be able to choose accordingly? The school they placed my daughter has a history of *******ion and bad reviews!!! I am not happy at all... The system failed and I know I am not the only one!!!!
