LISTED ME ON ITC

My son attended John Graham which I may add is an excellent school. My husband and I got divorced and the divorce settlement is that he pays and is responsible for school fees.. I got an ITC report and noted that a collection agency for the school listed me and my ex husband. I explained to the lady and was simply told, \ sorry we list both husband and wife who is responsible for outstanding fees\" 1st of all I had no idea that he paid or did not pay as we have separate addresses. surely someone should have contacted me via cell phone or landline? is it legit for this debt collecting agency to go this route? my court order stands doesn't it?
