I have a child already registered in Waterkloof primary school doing Grade4 ,i have done an application online however My child was placed in a school that is different from the one of his siblings- We have no option to decline the offer as its automated and also we are advised to at least apply in three schools, just to follow the rules I registered two more schools closer to home , I have met all criteria used to get my child place child at a school. My workplace is 4km way from school, my child has a sibling at the school, also my home address is not 30km away from the school. As a single parent I find myself in a dilemma as I will not be able to transport both kids to different school AND fetch them at the same time- all the login times are the same, it would have been easier if they were all placed in the same school. The department of Education is sending me back to the school and the school is referring me to the Department, I feel frustrated, the Department is making it difficult to assist us, especially us from single parented households. I'm Desperate and IM UNHAPPY, both my children need to be placed in the same school to avoid all this frustration. PLEASE HEAR ME OUT
