Horrified at irresponsability of Pathetic Gauteng Department of Education

As a parent with three children, two going to school I cannot let this go. I have a family friend who was an excellent teacher, famous for her matric students results. She retired, and now she has been waiting for her pension for four years. What precedent does that create? We are struggling in this country with a school system that cannot get enough qualified teachers and produces **** student results. The outcome is joblessness etc. Now we have people who dedicated their lives to doing the best possible, and achieving results in an average south African school with many black, white and other rainbow nation children. How will we motivate young people with talent to join the system if this is the stories going around town. I am ashamed to be a South African, I have never been, but this is it!
