Hazourdous!Appauling!

My 18 month old grandaughter traumatised on first day at nursery school.. I arrived unanounced at approximately 15:15 to fetch her. Car gate was open, security gate front door was also open!! I could hear my grandaughter cry from the front door. Nobody asked my name. I was directed outside to play area at the back. My 18 mnth grandaughter was lying on her back on a hard bare wooden table her nappy being changed by an elderly lady and crying her eyes out. It was obvious that she was hurting physically and emotionally. I was shocked couldn't believe my eyes. I took her from the old lady who apologized prefusely. I told her I would change the nappy myself and carried her to the changing station. Another shock! Lying next to small mattress a big pile of wet and dirty nappies within reach of any baby's hands receiving a nappy change. Not even in a plastic bag! Needless to say, I took baby and left. Principal not on premises, out. She dealt with this appauling situation by telling my daughter that I was over reacting and threw the phone down twice. Stay away parents! I was the manager of a baby center and am a qualified teacher,teaching primary school. I know the law concerning safety
