Grade 8 GDE Application for 2026

Grade 8 Application-this has been the worst experience I have ever gone through. I app**** for my son going to grade 8 for 2026 well in time and submitted everything that was required. We stay less than 5km away from the school we app**** for under school feeder zone.My sons application is 'still being processed ' while other kids who stay further away from the school have been placed at the very school we also app**** for.My husband has gone to the department and was told that other parents are applying using addresses close to the school.How are proof of addresses then verified? My son has still not been placed to date.
