Grade 1 Registration

<p>must say am sooo torn into a million pieces as we spea****my daughter is going to grade 1 next and as a parent i have carefully followed all the steps that needs to be done inorder for my daughter to get space for grade 1!!!i app**** on the GDE website in may 2016 and was advised to send the documents to the school i choose and will get an sms which will confirm the outcome of the registration which is funny because i got NOTHING.i did my follow by calling the department of education and sending emails to the email which was provided on the website!!!the clock is ticking my child needs a school and i havnt recieved any feedback and thats when i decided to go to the department of education now thats where i heard the most horrible news everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....i was told because i stay in the township my child will not be accepted in the school i have app**** for crying out loud my child went to a creche in the saburbs for three full years and this is what i get.do you think she will pass her grades if she has to attend school in the township.i have been living in a township ever since and i went to schools which are in the saburbs and i attented till grade 12 with no hustles...am very upset and sooooo disgusted if you saw that my child is not fit why didnt you call me in june or immediately after i submitted my documents...what am i supposed to do now????parents are buying school uniforms and here am i sitting with no clue.i need to qoute MrS Rabelani from the department of education in benoni you are RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL .this new process is same as the aparthied system in disguise .am sad i cant sleep am a terrible mom as we speak...please help me.</p>
