Grade 1 for 2019

I have app**** for my child school for grade 1 next year and i did that on time around March, i app**** in three schools, PamPark, Tucsion glen and Forest village all school rejected my child. i went to department of education and i was told that their is nothing they can do because some child got accepted in more than one school they need to wait until January before my child can get school.

I send an email to Anne Schlebusch the Minister of education in western cape and she said she will send my complain to district director, i asked her when will i get feedback she said she doesn't know. i waited for a week and no respond, i phoned department of education i spoke to his PA that told me that the district director is not available.

i spoke to Mr. Mdledle he is in-charge of Parm Park primary school and he send me back to the principal as he said he cant do anything, i have done my part by applying to three schools the department need to find a school for my child however no one can actually helped me. My child still sit with no school i don't know where she will go to school next year.

I have app**** to three schools for my daughter Nombulelo Tshali for next year grade 1 and all three schools rejected her applications, i have been in department of education district in Kuilsriver and i didn't get help. i spoke to Mr. Patrick Mdledle as he is the one for Parm Park primary school and he told me that all the schools are full for grade 1 and they are still waiting to get feedback if there will be mobile school or extra classes for grade R and grade 1, i also spoke to the person that is in charge of Forest hights Village and he told me that i need to wait until next January 10 days after the school is open. i believe that this is unfair to the child and to me as a parent to be going up and down fighting to get a school for my child and i did all i could do on time.

Mr. Ramaphosa said last week the education is very imported and all parent need to make sure that kids are at school not at the street, if the child is not a school you as parent you commuting a crime but the government is the one failing our children. As a parent you need to buy school uniform, stationary, get a transport and after care for the child but how can you do that if you don't even know which school your child is going to attend next year.

I am sure as a mother you will understand how it is to be a single parent and you have to do everything for your child and still comfort them when they hear that their friends got school and nothing for them, my child is crying everyday because i don't know which school she will be attending next year.

I have attached all the documents for my child and all the letters from three schools, i hope that you will be able to help me to get a school for my child before end of November.
