Grade 1 admissions-Child ****** of the 1st day exp

I tried enrolling my daughter for grade 1 in April this year. She misses the cut off age by one day. She was then assessed by the WCED as specified on their website. I've been sent from pillar to post between Searidge Park Primary and the district office after the principle of the school guaranteed a space for my daughter, only to be told by the educational specialist that there is no more space and that my little one has been placed on a waiting list. The department doesnt make provision for these kids, however put them through these tests without accounting for the space needed. We've been pushed back in the q since April and am expected to wait till school reopens in 2016 for them to see if there is space available. A complaint has been forwarded to the minister's office early in November with no feedback to date. It has also been communicated to the DBE who has just passed the buck back to the WCED as well as amoung themselves. Each time I'm told a different person will revert, but never does. My daughter is now expected to hang on the gates of the schools like a homeless dog, waiting for their s****s, simply because they fail at their projections.
