Getting proper assistance regarding my child's grade 12 CASS Mark request.

<p>My child did her grade 12 in 2015 at CASET Center of Science and Technology, and she obtained great results in June and September that year. She went on and wrote the final exams and she got very low results. Just last year she spent the whole year upgrading those three subjects (Maths, Physic, and LifeScience). Only to find out at the biggining of this year that she got almost the same low results in all three subjects (+- 20% as if she had no CASS Mark at all).<br />I have called the Western Cape Department of Education several time, and even went straight to their offices (spoke with Mr Collins from the Certicate Department ), so as find out more regarding her CASS Mark, because just like any other parent would suspect +-20% for a child that always did well before, wouldn't make sense occaring serveral times in a row.<br />The Department refused to act upon my request in both occasions, and my worry is if the problem is with the CASS Mark, irrespective of how many times she rewrites her Matric Exams, she will still fail.<br />All i would like to confirm is her Grade 12 CASS Mark. I have done some research regarding what they told me ("not allowed to give out CASS Marks"), it happened that students are allowed to request for their CASS Mark (Q: 36 from http://wced.school.za/documents/Matric2013/matric2013-n/faq.html -> answered: "A School Based Assessment (CASS) marks are captured by an official and verified by another official to ensure that the results are correct. It will however be checked, if requested."). I still called them after i have found this information, and they still refused, which really rases questions to me and not acceptable at all because its simply denaying my child her right to Education.</p>
