i have been working for many years at education as loyal employer, came a time i must retire i was told my pension will only be paid from 1993, opposed from 1977. i have certificates and years of service as proof but no one will tell me straight answer i have been sent from pillow to post trying to get assistance. the lady at the department office by name of mrs jenny wade told me there is not much she can do but send all the papers again to gentlemen by mr singh. when we call toll number at pension they say they must send proof from 1977. no one wants to take initiative and no one knows anything. we asked where we can lodge formal complaint but even that was in vain, no one will tell you anything not even escalation time frame afterwards.

it is sad to be abused by the same department you spent all your years serving especially at your retirement age.
