When we were encouraged to register our kids on gautengonline we were promised kids will be taken at first come first serve basis which is not the case I app**** almost immediately the lines were open yet my daughter with no school and I am being sent from pillar to post the school Benoni High wants to take no reponsibility saying it’s the district district keeps on saying wait I can’t wait when there is no clear guidance. I am now told the only kids considered were kids who used home addresses I on the other hand used my work address which is 500 meters away from my work which would ensure security. Where do I turn too now that my daughters rights have been disrespected and disregarded. We live in an unsafe country and any effort we make as parents to parent and keep our kids safe is not considered.
