Educatuon Department is *****ing our money

No Refund - this is *****ing.

Our son wrote matric 2023 and we had 4 papers remarked. We had to pay R116 per paper on the day we app**** for remark. We couldn't have remark done without payment.

When his remark results came back his one subject went up by a symbol - attached was a paper stating he would get the R116 back. Also stating to go to branch we app**** for remark to get the refund. We went to the branch in Uitenhage. Had to get a letter from the exam office stating he indeed had an increase and therefore can get the refund. We did this on 25th April 2024. Nearly 6 weeks later we are still waiting for the refund.

This is unexceptable. The department is *****ing our money. If they don't want to do a refund then don't charge to have the remarks done.

When we app**** the lady at the office was very unhelpful. Not very impressed at all.

I want the refund
