Department of Education....or lack thereof

I tried to contact the Department of Education with regards to learner registration for Home Education. No one at the Department knows exactly what Home Education is, even after my lengthy explanation of what it is. Then you get pushed from pillar to post, only to be told that the office in charge of Home Education does not have a phone, so you have to come into the office in central JHB to speak to someone. This is the Department that is responsible for educating our future generations!!!!! Well it is beyond pathetic. And that is the exact reason why I Home School my children.
