Legal Limits: In many developed public school systems, statutory limits legally cap elementary and high school classrooms at 25 to 35 students maximum.
The Lecture Exception: Massive numbers (like 80 to several hundred) are only standard in university lecture halls where the format relies on one-way lecturing rather than individualized primary or secondary education
.Critical Problems With 84 Students
Zero Individual Attention: A teacher cannot realistically provide personalized feedback, grade detailed work, or assist struggling learners when managing 84 individuals.
Severe Distractions: Massive class sizes result in high noise levels, making it incredibly difficult for students to concentrate or hear instruction.
Safety and Health Risks: Crowded spaces lack proper ventilation, speed up the transmission of airborne illnesses, and pose a severe physical hazard during emergency evacuations.
