Assistance Required for NSFAS Application

I have sent a number of emails to Mr. Mmutlana from december in relation to my nieces NSFAS application. I still have not heared a reply.

My name is Mduduzi T****, and I am the uncle of Ntando T****, a student at Bhukulani High school. I am writing to seek your urgent assistance regarding a matter that is critically affecting my niece's future.

Today, I visited the school to address an issue where Ntando has been unable to obtain the principal's signature required for his NSFAS application, which has a closing date of 15/12/2024. Despite multiple attempts, the principal has refused to sign the necessary documents. During my visit, the principal stated, "I will not sign for this child; he disrespected me and walked away when I tried to call him the other day."

This situation is jeopardizing Ntando's future, as he needs this signature to apply for financial aid. I respectfully ask for your intervention to understand what Ntando has done to warrant such treatment and to find a resolution. The principal could have referred Ntando to the social worker at the school, but instead, he has been adamant in his refusal.

I was present in person to apologize on behalf of Ntando, but the principal remained firm in his decision. With the deadline fast approaching and no social worker available to sign, we are left with no other option but to seek your help.

Please advise us on the next steps we can take to ensure Ntando's application is submitted on time. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
