This has been an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience from start to finish.

We rented a property through Elsabe from Denzil Kleu, and just three days before moving in, we were given notice because the property had been sold. With no real choice and relocating from another province, we were placed into another property without even being given the opportunity to view it.

When we arrived, the condition of the property was shocking. It was dirty, unhygienic, and infested with bugs and mice. We raised these issues repeatedly, but were constantly met with excuses instead of solutions. After two months of struggling to live in those conditions, we had no choice but to arrange and pay for pest control ourselves.

Elsabe eventually agreed that we could move out, acknowledging that the property did not meet basic living standards. However, despite this, they refused to reimburse us for the pest control costs.

What is even more concerning is the ongoing issue with our deposit. From early on, we raised concerns about the amounts and lack of clarity, yet to this day there is still no proper reconciliation. Both Elsabe and the Principal, Denzil Kleu, have continuously provided conflicting and incorrect information, and have failed to clearly account for where the full deposit has gone.

This entire experience has been handled with a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and transparency. Tenants should not have to fight this hard for basic living conditions or for clarity on their own money.

I would strongly caution anyone against dealing with this agency.
