Theft of vehicle contents while in for repair

My vehicle was booked in for repair on 11 January 2018 and I was advised yesterday, 23 January 2018 that it was ready for collection. Upon collection and aside from the repairs, I noticed a number of missing items as listed below:

1. Samsung car charger (that was stored in my console); 2. Bluetooth hands-free charger (that was stored in my console); 3. Portable umbrella (which was stored in the cubby hole) 4. Survival make-up kit (which was in the cubby hole) 5. Small post-it memo pad and pen (that was stored in my console); 6. Broken plastic key holder with picture of Jesus that was in my console; 7. Gym water bottle – luminescent green; 8. Gym socks - adidas (which was stored in the cubby hole).

Furthermore, I have since recalled that when I dropped off my vehicle on 11 January 2018, the tank was filled to capacity and when I collected it, it was short of a quarter tank. I can only presume that if the vehicle was not utilised by Denttech, that a quarter tank must have been siphoned off.

It is clear that the person/persons who stole the above items must have had more than ample time to riffle through the contents of my vehicle as my cubby hole which was full and messy (when I dropped the vehicle off) is no longer as full and messy as the papers in my cubby hole have all been arranged in an orderly fashion.

Denttech reverted this morning (24 January 2018), advising that after discussions with the floor manager that none of the items could be found. I therefore view this as malicious theft and while I was advised to remove “valuables”, which I did, I view none of the above items as a “valuable” in the strict sense and re**** on their professionalism and ethics in managing the day to day integrity of their staff.

The entire process has left me with feelings of utter disgust and violation that I cannot even comment on the quality of their workmanship.
