Rude Manager & substandard work performed

My vehicle was referred to Dent Tech Auto Body shop here in Rustenburg around June 2020 after I was a victim of a hijacking the day before the 1st lockdown. My vehicle's stay there was nothing short of a nightmare as they took forever to repair it. I eventually got my vehicle in August 2020. The 1st time they said the vehicle was ready, in actual fact, it wasn't. It was filled with oil marks all over my interior amongst other things, The Manager, Niel, suggested a valet carwash which I did not have a problem with. I was then called to be informed my vehicle does not have petrol & they require authorisation from me for them to pour petrol, which I did. Upon finally receiving my vehicle, I must say their valet person must honestly close down shop, I was then told I needed to pay back the R100 petrol that was poured, which was really shocking. I did not pay that R100 after their many attempts to get me to pay.

I recently then realised my door panels were becoming loose due the shop's incompetence & my glove box, The glove box Niel pushed it back using his fist. We then agreed I should drop off my vehicle. On the morning of the 21st Of October 2020, I dropped off my vehicle & made arrangements with Dent Tech to be dropped off & collected after work. Mind you, my vehicle was used to drop me off. At around 2pm, I called & reminded them about the pick up. Came 16:20, I was told there is no driver & Niel, the Manager downright said I can walk to the repair shop if I want to since I know the directions. Is that how a whole manager speaks to a client?? If so, their work ethics must be reviewed. I was finally collected from work & must say, my vehicle only went there for a carwash. My panels were still in the same condition as I left it in when I dropped it off.

We then agreed, again, to bring in my vehicle today, the 22nd of October 2020. Same procedure was done, my car was used to drop me off but I was told it wont take long therefore they will deliver the vehicle at my workplace. Just before 2pm, I am told the driver is ready to drop off my vehicle but I should return the driver. I therefore declined citing the usage of my own petrol, my own expense to return the Dent Tech employee back at the shop. The driver eventually came with Niel behind him. Upon inspection, 2 of the 3 loose panels were substandard, but at least they were better than how they were before, but the 1 panel, left front passenger door was still loose. They then left with my vehicle AGAIN. All the while, my petrol was used. The inconvenience caused by Dent Tech to me is unfathomable to say the least & Niel's work ethic is really poor. The man is rude in all aspects. I am now doubting their accreditation.

I would never advice anyone to use Dent Tech Autobody Shop to repair their vehicles.
