Dont trust any De longhi products! U wasting money

I purchased the Brillante Kettle (diamond shaped) and now the centre area with water level markings is cracking, leaking, yellowing etc I emailed the company and they informed me to take it to Constantiakloof in Cape Town. I reside in Blouberg. It's some distance I am disabled and the drive would kill me never mind waiting for 7 days to go back again The company suggested I take it to the company I purchased it from and they would send it away but not guaranteeing the time it would take. So how long would I be without a kettle? I spent good money on it as for the brand but seems I should've just stuck to the cheaper brands on the market I asked them to call me or get a senior person to call and discuss and my email went unanswered! A R2500 kettle!!!! And I get no response! And seeing the comments on hellopeter seems i wont get a response either! I advise anyone wanting to purchase any of their products DONT!
