The hare and the Dell Laptop

During November 2018 I bought a brand new Dell Inspiron 15 3567 laptop from Makro. The laptop works okay but the wifi connection is beyond pathetic. I have tried finding solutions online but to no avail. The online Dell technical support is useless. I am lucky if I manage 500kbps connection on my 4mbps adsl line. I have upgraded firmware and uninstalled the smartbyte app and nothing helped. According to the Dell website, my laptop (9 months old) is out of warranty!!! Can someone from Dell please contact me to help me find the cause for the almost non-existent wifi connection. All my other devices achieve proper download speed, except this damn expensive paper weight.
