Money wasted on a Dell laptop bought by Game Store
I bought a Dell G3 Core I5 gaming laptop at Game Somerset West and the laptop gave problems in the first week the laptop restarted and had to be updated all the time when we took it in at Game Tygervalley they told us it was a software problem regarding the drivers and the laptop software licensing had already expired. Not long after that we returned it back to Game as the laptop now gave keyboard and battery problems. Where the keyboard would not work and the laptop could not charge or start without remaining plugged in with the charger and if removed the whole laptop would go blank. Once I took the laptop back I was told that the laptop whole motherboard needs to be replaced and that it's warranty is expired. Even though we have proof that the laptop was recently purchased and has 3 years warranty on it. After repeatedly calling Game and continously waiting more than a month with no feedback because they could not call me and finally when they did I get a unsatisfactory response. Now Game wants to finally repair the laptop but without the warranty. So should I recieved the repaired laptop and more problems with the laptop occur, the 3 year warranty would not apply to the laptop no more. So far I am very disappointed and unsatisfied in Dell's laptop and Game services. I would like a faster response and not wait as a customer further regarding this matter because I have really lost faith in Dell's laptops and I am convinced that Game sold me a faulty laptop.
