Forced obsolescence by Dell is totally unacceptable
I have a Dell Inspiron 153576 laptop. I appreciate that it is 5 years old but it still works perfectly and I have recently upgraded it by installing an SSD. I held back on installing Windows 11, but Microsoft just went and upgraded one night when I left the machine on. Since then I tried using Microsoft Teams to discover that the speakers and camera don't work. After some investigation I have been told that Dell do not have drivers for the camera and speakers for Window 11 and I have to take the laptop back to Windows 10. Going back a version of Windows is not a trivial process and not something I should be forced to do.
How can this forced obsolescence even be allowed with what is meant to a reputable brand? I find this totally unacceptable.
