Dell not honouring the warranty 3 years pro support not

Dell Warranty 3 year Pro Support for a Dell laptop has not assisted with our repair. RJ45 port is not working and the USB port is faulty. Logged a call and was told that these components are not covered under the warranty due to wear and tear. Everything on a laptop is wear and tear so that means the warranty isn’t valid. How can we resolve this, the laptop is only 9 months old.
