Dell and their products suck ass

I would love to give them a lower rating but can't.

Purchased a dell S2721DGFA monitor in 2023, unaware that it had a micro crack. After a few months this crack grew and basically the monitor is unusable. There was no was warning or gradual degradation it was instantaneous. It worked fine then 2 days afterwards I switch on and BAM, ***ol. I took it to computer repair shot. They looked for the basic stuff where i could have bumped the monitor or scratched it but they found nothing. After doing some digging they found the micro crack no larger that than a pinkie nail. Explained that it might have been smaller at purchase but grew with usage. Almost undetectable unless you actually know how to test for it (which I did not do expecting the product to work out of the box, especially for the price).

I reached out to dell support and they basically said that the warranty only covers software glitches and not actual monitor/physical defects. They did not offer to replace the monitor instead motioned me towards purchasing another monitor instead. The product lasted in all about 14 months (it has a 3 years warranty which only applies to software). I had an old Samsung monitor for 12 years and have reverted back to it just to write this review of this ****ty company.

I'll never buy another dell product again and I'll make sure to warn people far and wide to never buy their products as it is below par and they don't intent to keep to their warranty guarantees.

Do yourself a favour and just keep clear of their products.
