Unbelievably pathetic after sales service

In February of 2021 we renovated our kitchen and as I had a Defy oven in my kitchen, which worked brilliantly, although it was quite old, I decided to buy a new one which I did from a local retailer. When we installed the oven we noticed that the aluminium strip on the bottom door was not straight and had been attached to the door incorrectly during manufacture. So much for Defy's quality control. I contacted the retailer where I bought the oven and they logged a call with defy to have the issue resolved. First Service number *** 24 Feb 2021. A technician called and said he'd come and have a look, which he did. He saw what the issue was and said he would order a new door and let me know when it was ready. A few weeks later he came to fit the new door but on doing so, found that the nut where the door latch *****s in was not on the door so he would need to take it back and order a new door with the nut attached. So off he went. I didn't hear anything for weeks and when I checked the service number online I saw it was canceled. When I enquired I was told that the technician who had assisted me had left the company and that the issue would be resolved and escalated to management. I then received a new Service number *** on 6 April 2021. A new technician came to see what the problem was and I told him about the previous technician and the door he was going to order. He said he would go back and see if he could follow up on the new door. I never heard from Defy again and presumed that the issue had been forgotten about again or lost and so I just gave up and decided that I would have to just live with the door the way it is. Then on 27 July, to my great surprise, a technician called me and told me that he had my new door and wanted to come and fit it and so, with great excitement, I said he could come any time. Later in the day he arrived to fit the new door. However, when he unwrapped the door it now had the required nut for the door latch but it was a mirror-finished door whereas mine is black. So he now had to go back to Defy and arrange to get another door. I am waiting with anticipation to see if Defy can get it right this time or what else will be wrong. I have now been issued with a third service number - *** on 27 July 2021 I cannot believe that a company like Defy can get this so wrong. A company that has been around for so long. If they continue like this, my guess is, they will not be around for much longer and it seems their management is not doing much to resolve these matters as I have not heard from one of them. I doubt I will EVER buy a Defy appliance again and I will not recommend them to anyone either.
